Happy birthday!

*blows cheap paper whistle horn thingy*

Happy Happy Birthday CGB Dear,
Happy days will come to you all year.
If I had one wish then it would be
a happy happy CGB birthday
to you from me!

Woohoo, I love birthdays! I particularly love birthdays that don't require to ever waste another 97 cents on ridiculous 3X5 index cards!

baby onth

I love the birthday candles! Where can I get some? My favorite posts have got to be the ones that GAF posts (she's my sister). I just enjoy laughing is all.

Chad Too

One year old and still fat? That's just baby fat. You'll grow out of it, or so they tell me...

Happy Birthday!

Thank god, the googlish ads are now for pound cake rather than diet aids :) Beautiful!

Quick note cause I'm working and.. well I'm working.

You have to do the Blogathon because now I have an idea to help! Do it do it! Or I'll just help with that whole donating to breast cancer research thing.

Aimee Roo

wahoooooo!!! a happy birthday to you dear blog. :)

Happy Birthday!!!!

I love all the posts, they're so dang interesting. This is the 4th blog I read on my daily list, and that's only because I go in order on my favorite's list.

Keep it up, and let's have many more.

Happy Birthday!
I am so happy to be apart of this community. My favorite post is "An Uphill Battle" because every time I am with someone who is more fit than I (and believe me that is most times) I refuse to let them see me quit or struggle and usually my insides are churning and I am cursing them inside (stupid skinny *****). Second favorite is the discussion about doctors. My doctor's response is always weight, blah, obese, blah, fat. I told her I was depressed (and for me to mention this was huge) and she told me that I should lose some weight and then talk to her. I should have asked if maybe my weight is a result of depression and not my depression a result of my weight. Or when I mentioned I had recently started seeing someone she asked me if I met him at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. I kid you not. Anyway enough about me - sorry! Happy Birthday and many more. I shall have cake to celebrate tonight and maybe some ice cream. As if I needed the excuse.

Has it already been a year? Wow! Happy birthday CGB!

I'm like the Monk, it's hard for me to choose a favorite. But, here, Happy Birthday CGB website! (And, just in case the link didn't work, click on ~Zes~)

Happy Birthday! I can't think of a favourite post either, they are all so well written....

But Happy Happy Birthday!!!

You say it's your birthday
It's my birthday too--yeah
They say it's your birthday
We're gonna have a good time
I'm glad it's your birthday
Happy birthday to you.

Yes we're going to a party party
Yes we're going to a party party
Yes we're going to a party party.

I would like you to dance--Birthday
Take a cha-cha-cha-chance-Birthday
I would like you to dance--Birthday

You say it's your birthday
Well it's my birthday too--yeah
You say it's your birthday
We're gonna have a good time
I'm glad it's your birthday
Happy birthday to you.

My favorite post is Jerilyn's Water Park Perils post. I had a water park peril that involved a dangerously high slide, my stubborn unwillingness to walk past 100's of strangers down the stairs once I realized the slide was way too high for me, and the loss of my bathing suit top, which occurred sometime during the first 10 feet or so during the peak of my freak-out, and which thankfully no one could see because I had my foot in the wrong spot as I tried to slow my descent. My foot hung over the side and splashed massive amounts of water up at my upper body--covering my accidentally liberated breast--and my face, including my nostrils and mouth. If I had actually died, the cause of death would have been two-fold: Accidental Self-Drowning and Embarrassment.

Leap, that is HILARIOUS.

Happy Birthday, CGB! You're a grand ol' gal!

Anybody up for a Canadian birthday celebration? I have a nice, big house... And I loooooooove cake!

Favourite post? 'Diets: A Retrospective'. Every time I read it, I think I'm going to wet myself.

Let's do something really grand. Let's all dress up as Camryn Manheim, stand atop a Baskin-Robbins and sing 'Happy Birthday' as loud as we can. Or we could all give our pets and children special, birthday haircuts. Like mohawks. Or we could just all vow to sit down with our favourite slice of cake, sychronize our watches and chow down. You know, something lasting and meaningful.

Here's to many more years of us rockin' the Net!

Anna, I'm in Canada, too. (BC.) At least for now--next year, we plan to move back to Oregon.

I'm all for giving the cat & dog mohawks. I'll fire up the buzz cutters! :o)

My favorite post is whichever one talked about nipular hair, because that's when I found out I was normal.

Happy Birthday to ALL of us, because this is the first anniversary of chubby, PMSed, abnormally-haired women feeling normal in a world that likes to make us think we aren't. And plus, we get to laugh a lot too!

Thanks for this place and for all your hard work in keeping it up and running.

I'm glad I found the CGB - it's been a great source for humor and wit in my life at a time when it's really been needed. Thanks for being here, and happy birthday to you! May many more follow in the years to come!

I love this place. Thanks for a number of great posts! I think the two that made me laugh the hardest were the one which discusses pant-murdering thighs (oh, yeah, so true) and the one regarding facial hair where Jerilyn's daughter pets her face while comparing her to a kitty. There are so many wonderful ones, though.

Mazeltov, and thank you! Here's to another year!

Wow! Happy Birthday Brigadiers! It's nice to have been invited to the party if for no other reason than to be able to call myself a girdle.
