I totally read your blog, I just wish you updated more often! You're so funny!

GAF

I just got my iPod (and consequently iTunes) for Christmas so my most frequently played song count is still extremely LOW

1. I'll Fly Away by Allison Kraus and Gillian Welch 8 plays
2. Aunt Marge's Waltz by John Williams 8 plays
3. The Knight Bus by John Williams 8 plays
4. Canadian Idiot by Weird Al Yankovic 8 plays
5. Tainted Love by Soft Cell 7 plays
6. In the Jailhouse Now by The Soggy Bottom Boys 7 plays
7. Don't Let's Start by They Might Be Giants 7 plays
8. Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits 6 plays
9. A Little Less Conversation (JXL Radio Edit Remix) Elvis Presley 6 plays
10. Lumos! by John Williams 6 plays
11. Double Trouble by John Williams 6 plays
12. Neville's Waltz by Patrick Doyle 6 plays
13. Vertigo by U2 6 plays
14. Pancreas by Weird Al 6 plays
15.

GAF

ARGH. I didn't finish it and accidentally posted.
Ahem.
15. Underwater Secrets by Abigail Doyle 5 plays
16. And Your Bird Can Sing by the Beatles 5 plays
17. Jive Talkin' by the BeeGees 5 plays (I'm trying NOT to be embarrassed about this one)
18. I Want Candy by Bow Wow Wow 5 plays
19. Never There by Cake 5 plays (THANK YOU JERILYN FOR THIS SONG--it's one of my all-time favs!)
20. The Glow Worm (Cha Cha Cha) by Jackie Davis 5 plays
21. Is She Really Going Out with Him? by Joe Jackson 5 plays
22-25 all are John Williams' Harry Potter movie soundtrack songs.

I blame the shuffle function for not playing Never There every other time I listen to Flossie.

Trina

I have no ipod.

I have no itunes.

The only songs I recognize out of yours or GAF's are the Harry Potter songs, and I recognized them all before the actual reference to Harry Potter.

I know what LUMOS means.

I'm feeling a little depressed over this, but I'll cheer right up once I find my "Anne Murray's Greatest Hits" cassette tape, pop it in my van's deck, and sing to "Danny's Song" all the way to the grocery store. Yeah baby!

Tusk

Is there any way to figure out the most plays using WMP?

Jerilyn

I have no idea, Tusk. Sorry!

DanaLee

I wasn't going to play because my songs make me realize my true goober status. Also, my play counts are low even though I have had my Ipod and therefore Itunes for about 18 months. I mostly use my Ipod and not Itunes so I imagine my Ipod list would vary signficantly. Also, I will admit I am slightly neurotic about Christmas music, and played it basically non stop last year starting mid October. So I cannot say I am surprised at how many of those tunes showed up in the top 25.
1. Girls Like Me: Mary Chapin Carpenter: 33

2. My Heaven: Mary Chapin Carpenter: 29

3. Crying:Roy Orbison and K.D. Lang: 29

My blog entry on how I'm totally not embarrassed by the songs on my list is here.

Joyce

I listed the soundtrack to my life a few weeks ago on my blog...I can't count and I have no iPod so here it is.

Stephsterr

I put mine up on my blog. Coming soon to a KF CD near you... ;)

Meghan

I can't count my most played songs because I don't have a nifty ipod thingy but I did do a top ten list on my blog a while back!

Ty

I've now posted my top 25. Hey, Jerilyn, it's been a while, eh? I was happy (if a little stressed) to see that you've still been working on artificially raising your play counts. I've got a great file for you if you want it, you can seriously make for a high play count with it.

Ty

and have I confessed that I've crossed over and artificially inflated my play counts? Not quite as much as to achieve a play count like yours, but I've fast forwarded to the ends of some songs to register them as played even if I've only listened to half the song! I'm a hypocrite.

Kiari

Um...Yeah. My ipod is still charging...but here are some songs I like, In no particular order

Fat Lip (Sum 41)
Kryptonite
iGeneration(MC Lars)
Home(Three days grace)
Because of You (NIckelback
Headstrong(Trapt)
Boulevard of Broken SOngs(Greenday vs. Oasis)
Crawling (LIncon Park)
Numb(Lincon Park)
In The end (Lincon Park)
Breaking the habit( Lincon Park)
